Grilling Fruits and Vegetables

Last week’s Keep it healthy for Life Session was a great success! Thank you to all the participants who came out! We had a great time going for a walk and then grilling up some delicious fruits and vegetables. We added some soy sauce to the veggies and fruits for a twist. There are many variations that you can do to spice up the recipes and making them gluten free is just as easy as switching out a sauce.

Grilled Sweet and Sour Pineapple

1 Pineapple sliced
1 tbsp soy sauce

Cut pineapple and place in a bowl, gently toss with soy sauce. Place on a preheated grill, cooking for 5 minutes on one side than turning.

Ginger Soy Dressing

1 Tbsp soy Sauce
1 tsp freshly grated ginger

Cut up zucchini lengthwise, place in bowl with soy sauce and ginger. Lightly toss and place on a preheated grill for 10 minutes.
