Immune boosting chicken soup

In previous posts we discussed the benefits of mom’s tried and true chicken soup. Why there is some truth when you are sick for mom to tell you here have some chicken soup. What if we add some gut boosting nutrition soup. Since immunity starts in the gut why not give it an extra fighting chance.

2 chicken breasts
1 cups chicken broth
1 carrot peeled and diced
3 stalks celery peeled and diced
1 onion, diced
1 bunch spinach, washed
Sunchokes peeled and diced
parsnips , peeled and diced
½ head cabbage sliced thin
1 tbsp turmeric
1 tbsp chili powder
3 bay leaves
Salt and pepper to taste

Add all items to pot and cook for 4 hours
