Rethinking Carbs in Our Diet

This week I will be giving a lecture on starches and weight loss. I say the word starches instead of carbs because instead of thinking of carbs as the enemy I go back to the very foundation of my nutrition career. This basis taught me that all carbs are not created equal. Fruits are good for us and needed in our diet and placing our bodies into a chronic state of ketosis may not be the magic bullet everyone needs.

If you want to learn more about this topic and how I approach weight loss in a different way. Not by deprivation but by limitations and changing the way we think about carbs come to our lecture on Wednesday at our Barnegat location at 5:30. Let’s get healthy before the holidays season leaves with with so many weight regrets.
