Summer Marinades

Marinades are great for summer time and with this heat we usually find ourselves turning on our oven less and our grills more. Marinades can be a healthy way to spice up meat, but many marinades can be a breeding ground for added sugars, preservatives and chemicals. While there are many great marinades out there you should always read your food label to ensure that you are not getting these additive in your meals. Marinades are also very easy to make, here is one of my favorites and I will share more with you throughout the summer.

2 Tbsp Braggs Aminos
2 Tbsp freshly grated ginger
2tbsp minced garlic
¼ cup basil leaves fresh

Put in a bowl with meat of your choice and marinade for 2 hours.
