Digestive Disease Center to Host Discussion About Infants and Children and GERD


 

Poughkeepsie, NY-February 3, 2015–Digestive Disease Center of the Hudson Valley, the region’s leading Gastroenterology Medical Practice, will host an informative session on GERD in infants and children on Thursday, February 19th at its Fishkill office, 400 Westage Business Center Drive, Suite 209, in Fishkill

The lecture, Is It Normal or is it GERD?, will begin at 5:30 pm, and will be facilitated by board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist Puneet Gupta, MBBS, MD. The event will highlight symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and dietary advice.

About one in every twenty babies suffers from GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), and the ailment often goes undiagnosed.
