Dr. Sami A. Almaskeen is a board-certified gastroenterologist, specializing in the treatment and prevention of diseases and disorders of the digestive tract.  Notably, Dr. Almaskeen has completed additional training in Advanced Endoscopy. He is able to perform more advanced endoscopic procedures and specializes in biliary diseases and disorders.

Dr. Almaskeen served as an organizer and member of global activities for The United Nations and is fluent in English and Arabic. He has published in the Journal of Investigative Medicine, Journal of Louisiana State Medical Society and the Journal of Alimentary Pharmacology and Therapeutics.
