I would absolutely not recommend this provider. She did not appropriately address my concerns or symptoms. I came with an acute, isolated symptom. Instead of conducting a physical exam as would be indicated for that symptom, she pointed to ridiculous alternative “problems” which were totally irrelevant. For example, she said my weight was a “problem” because it was too low (if she asked, she’d know I have been stable at this weight my entire life and it is healthy for me). She also suggested that an unrelated diagnosis I have had for years might have been incorrect, despite that it was verifiably confirmed by multiple colonoscopies.
I have since followed up with my regular GI doctor who indicated that her recommendation to proceed with an invasive procedure was wholly inappropriate, and that my symptoms were caused by a minor condition that was confirmed via a basic physical exam. (I had asked her to do that exam during my visit, but she said this condition was not the cause of my symptoms without any basis for that.)
Finally, her bedside manner was awful. She spent the entire time speaking into the iPad, dictating the same information over and over again because she couldn't get it to work properly. She was extremely dismissive when I reported my medical history, repeating them into her iPad as “patient thinks” or “guesses.” The information I reported was factual and confirmed by my written medical records. She also jumped to suggesting my symptom could be cancer, without any sensitivity or discussing other possible diagnoses (including the one it ultimately turned out to be).

I would not recommend this provider.
First, she spent the entire time speaking into the iPad (dictating the same information over and over again), instead of addressing me as the patient.
Second, I do not feel she appropriately listened to or addressed my concerns. I came with an acute, isolated symptom. Instead of conducting a physical exam as would be indicated for the symptom, she pointed to ridiculous alternative “problems” which were totally irrelevant. For example, she said my weight was a “problem” because it was too low (if she asked, she’d know I have been stable at this weight my entire life and it is healthy for me). She also suggested that I might have been misdiagnosed by my prior GI doctor, despite my diagnosis being verifiably confirmed by multiple colonoscopies. She also dismissed my medical history, suggesting my recollection was inaccurate, despite my having confirmed the information I reported to her in my medical records.
This was an absolute waste of time.

My only negative common is that it was about an hour before I was taken into the doctor's office. It was about twenty minutes more before the doctor actually came in.
